Our Story
Founded in 2022 by a team of fashion enthusiasts, Catalog Classics® was created to celebrate the iconic looks that have stood the test of time. We believe that true style transcends passing trends and fads. Our pieces are inspired by vintage catalogs, patterns, and silhouettes, reimagined in modern fabrics and prints.
From day one, our goal has been to scour thrift stores, flea markets, and estate sales to rescue one-of-a-kind vintage items, then reproduce them in our Connecticut studio using sustainable practices. The result is a collection of sophisticated essentials that evoke a sense of nostalgia and never go out of style.

Meet Our Founder
Catalog Classics® was founded by passionate vintage collector Amanda Jones. After a career in fashion design, Amanda grew tired of the relentless trend cycle. She longed for the tailored, feminine styles of the 1950s-70s that felt timeless yet modern.
After inheriting her grandmother’s massive vintage clothing collection, Amanda was inspired to rework those classic catalog designs using ethical production methods. She launched Catalog Classics® as a way to share her love of enduring styles from decades past while making conscientious choices for the future.
Our Studio
We’re a small team of designers, pattern makers, cutters, seamstresses, and finishers based in New Haven, Connecticut. Working in close quarters allows us to ensure quality control across the entire production process.
The vast majority of sewing and finishing is done by hand in our light-filled studio. This personal touch results in one-of-a-kind pieces with delightful imperfections that add to their vintage allure.
We also partner with local businesses for screenprinting and embroidery. Supporting our community is central to our mission.
Future Goals
As we grow, we hope to expand our size range and styles while maintaining our commitment to ethical, sustainable production.
Introducing loungewear and coordinate sets is high on our priority list so our customers can keep building cohesive capsules.
Continuing to nurture local partnerships here in Connecticut and tell the stories behind each garment also remains core to our vision.
